Our fleet can lift and transport
A Hiab is a clever mix of a lorry and a lifting crane combined all in one vehicle.
These trucks are better known by the brand name Hiab, after the famous Swedish company Hydraliska Industri AB that has been manufacturing them since the 1940s. These special lorries have a crane fitted behind the driver's seat. They can lift large heavy items such as cabins and containers while keeping the lorry stable and safe. This means that one vehicle can both move and lift things, which saves lots of money compared to hiring separate wagons to transport and cranes to lift.
What makes Hiabs so useful?
They can lift heavy machinery.
Transport and position portable cabins and shipping containers.
Handle building materials easily.
Load & unload goods wherever needed without the need for separate vehicles to transport and lift.
The trucks are really flexible; they drive normally on roads but turn into proper cranes when you need them. They come with different lifting hooks. Some have the hook at the back which helps them reach further.
Types of lorries available:
Flatbed (with flat loading areas)
Articulated (bendy ones with trailers)
Rigid (all in one piece)
Wagon and drags (extra-long ones)
Low loaders (for very tall loads)
These vehicles are perfect for building sites and moving big loads because they do two jobs at once - they're both transport and crane in one neat package.
