To reiterate my comments earlier, we would like to thank you for the professional and helpful service you have provided us with since my first phone call with Angus to ascertain prices of the cabins you offer. Right at the start, Angus was honest about your lead times, did not over promise and delivered a product that was of the quality promised, and delivered at the time agreed. This is the first time we have purchased cabins, as we usually hire. Not being able to view the cabins prior to delivery was a little unnerving, but we needn’t have worried. Every step of the way Angus and yourself have been extremely helpful and very prompt at responding to any queries. You even managed to incorporate an additional container for us at the last minute. Delivery wise, my Site Managers were very complimentary of your drivers. They were accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Helping to site and level up the cabins, welfare unit and container. The quality of the finish is very impressive, as is the overall service. Thank you all once again.

Just a note to say that drivers sent to complete this job were absolutely amazing. They have a great can do attitude that we have struggled to find with other hiab companies. Please pass on our regards to all involved we will definitely be back on the next project.

Nearly a week on from taking delivery of our clamping pod in West Sussex,and found time to write a review on the service we received from Nortons. In summary,its was absolutely phenomenal,and it was all thanks to Michael,their driver,who would have been quite within his rights to 'drop and go',but instead went,way beyond what anyone would expect. His knowledge,and suggestions were from someone who knew exactly what he was talking about,and his mannerism and professionalism were exemplary. It certainly wasn't the easiest of jobs/deliveries,but he was courteous and a marvellous representative for Nortons.The end result was the Pod being located exactly where it was supposed to be,and we cannot thank,or recommend Nortons,and Michael enough for the shear determination to succeed and provide an exemplary service. When you hear about so much hatred and anger in the world,having met Michael,it restored our faith in humanity!! He's one of the people who keeps this world turning!!

It was a pleasure dealing with Nortons from start to finish. Angus in the office and Gary as AP were both particularly excellent. Competent,speedy to respond,eager to solve issues and work together to successfully deliver some tricky lifts to tight time scales.
A fast turnaround on excellent detailed site specific RAMS and all required paperwork were particularly appreciated.
The lifts were undertaken safely and efficiently and all site operatives were equally competent and eager to help.

I wanted to express our sincere thanks to you for your help in lifting two cantilevered parasols off the roof of the Great John Street Hotel on Saturday. As James may have mentioned,we had been offered the entire contents of the hotel to sell in aid of three local charities,The Maggies Centre at the Christie Hospital;Prevent Breast Cancer at Wythenshawe Hospital and the Lord Mayor's Charity in aid of the homeless in Manchester.
100% of the proceeds from the sale will go to these local charities. The firemen who have been furloughed from Manchester Airport had kindly helped to clear the hotel contents,but they were unable to move the parasols due to their size and weight. This was frustrating to say the least as we had a willing buyer which in turn meant there would be a significant donation to the three charities.
To say that we were grateful to you for supplying the crane on Saturday is an understatement! We are indebted to you and I wanted to say a huge Thank You on behalf of the volunteers and also the three charities.
Whilst writing,I would like to say that Dave the driver was lovely to work with - very patient and clearly was an excellent operator.

Nortons hiab service is amazing they dropped off a 40ft shipping container to my house with the very difficult task of manoeuvring through cars and small winding roads.
Customer service has been amazing from beginning to the end always willing to go the extra mile driver helped position and the shipping container and did not leave until the whole process was complete.
I highly recommend this service to anyone and would definitely used again when needed. Amazing

As rohan said yesterday the team were top draw!! They were all on it,and in some cases,ie TT had to wait a long time because of the high admin demands on site.
Even Ian didnt moan too much! They were all patient which is a great support to us not pecking us every five minutes.
Special mention goes to dave as he a top chap. Id briefed your boys that the client would be hard work and we may have to boss it a bit to get what we wanted.
Dave helped massively in that and is a dab hand with a hiab! He had a long day but didn't moan once.
Credit were credit is due,a top class team! We all worked very well together. So thank you very much for that and onto the next jobs!

Further to our conversation yesterday,I wanted to write and say what a fantastic job Tim did delivering the heavy stone objects to Stone Lakes on Tuesday.
I live up a very narrow country lane and Tim arrived in a large articulated lorry. I have had drivers of much smaller lorries say they couldnt come up the lane to deliver items,but Tim did so in his vehicle.
He was polite and helpful and a credit to Nortons Hiab Services Ltd.
Thanks to Tim and everyone for your help. I dont often write emails like this - usually I am the first to complain!

I would just like to express my thanks to you both and Dave and all the drivers concerned with yesterday?s Oxford Station delivery. The work you all put in communicating the planning we put together paid dividends on the day. Dave is as skilled as they come and is just as comfortable communicating with network rail?s Health & Safety top brass as he is working his crane. All the other drivers did their bit by turning up at their allotted time to ensure we caused minimum disruption to nearby residents. Even after many years doing this,it still feels good when a job runs as smooth as this one. I look forward to working with you in the future.

Yesterday I attended site with your chaps,I cant remember all the names but I worked alongside Michael and Dave mainly. I would just like to say I was extremely happy with the safe working practice and professionalism of your staff.
When offloading the kiosk onto the concrete bases they were extremely accurate while being accommodating with the staffs requests. Upon leaving site I was thanked by the site manager and he expressed how happy he was with the smooth delivery and positioning of all the kiosks.

Just a quick shout,Today we unloaded a delivery to Redfern House refurbishment,that is being overseen by Russells Construction. The situation required all parties to adapt and overcome several unforeseen issues,which was at times very taxing both mentally and physically.
These were successfully overcome. A significant reason for us accomplishing the delivery and distribution of the Lift today is down to Chris Tierney,our designated Nortons Delivery Driver and Crane Operator.
Although under pressure and going that little bit further than he would be normally expected,Chris consistently worked through any problem with us until this task was completed to an excellent standard. Many thanks Chris and the Nortons Team.

Tim and Dave did the delivery and lift onto the drive,then Tim came in with the HIAB and spent time and effort above and beyond to position the container in the best place afforded by the site.

We had 3 store units delivered to site yesterday via yourself to be responsible for the offloading. The gentleman you sent,Mr C Tierney was a great example of what is expected on sites this day in age. He came well prepared with all certification for all equipment and lifting accessories,was very compliant and understanding with the process from our end to which we had to have specific non-crane lift plans and documentation recorded on site and in place. He was clearly shown to portray himself in a very professional manor as well as delivering placement of cabins to exactly our needs of location on site. I would just like to make mention of the incredible job the driver did with the delivery of the container.
It was much tighter than he was expecting,and after numerous attempts,we finally got the truck down the driveway,but then meant he had to hoist over the house to get it in.
I thought we were not going to be able to get it to work,but he did not give up and eventually,with millimetre gaps and precision,we got it down.

Our thanks to Norton as their driver was very precise in getting our building onto the mezz floor at the new premises.

Just wanted to drop you a line to say thank you for the good work on Saturday. It was nice to be called to find out everything was ok rather than me having to chase (which is usually the case). I follow you guys on linked in and twitter and from what I can see you are a great company and seem to have the same customer driven values as us.
And going forward I would like to see if we can work together some more.
We have a lot of work which requires hiabs to load and unload which goes all over the UK. Some of it is just small digger buckets but we also do Modular buildings and such like.
