What we do in Blackpool
A helicopter airframe is light for its size and almost entirely fragile. There is very little of it you can put a sling around, the centre of gravity is not where it looks, and the rotor head sits exactly where a crane hook wants to be. It is a rigging problem rather than a lifting one.
Airside work brings its own constraints on top: escorted access, a permit regime, and a movement window that is not negotiable. The lift itself takes minutes; the planning around it takes days, and that is the right way round.
The rest of the Fylde work is ordinary — cabins, containers, plant and materials into coastal sites where the wind is a real planning factor rather than a footnote.

Our yard is at Miles Platting in Manchester - one site, our own vehicles and our own ALLMI trained driver / operators, rather than work farmed out to a local sub-contractor we have never met. Blackpool is regular running for us, and jobs are priced by the job rather than by the mile, so the distance from the yard is not a line on your quote.
