Hiab hire in Cheshire
Cheshire is the county where the access question matters most. A great deal of what we lift there has to go somewhere a lorry cannot follow it, over a wall, a hedge or a gravelled drive that will not take a stabiliser leg.
Photographs from Cheshire, not from a stock library
A kiosk unit craned onto its base at Winsford, brick pallets into a street at Ellesmere Port, a load of electrical panels running down the M6 from Ellesmere Port to London, and a commercial truck wash lifted at Lymm. All photographed on the job.

What we do in Cheshire
The rural and residential work is the distinctive part. Garden rooms and pods lifted in over a boundary. Hot tubs and spa units into gardens with one gate and a hedge. Sheds, cabins, steelwork for extensions, and the occasional piece of statuary. In nearly every case the constraint is reach rather than weight, because the vehicle has to stand on the lane and place the load somewhere behind a house or a wall.
That is exactly the job a lorry loader is for and exactly the job a flatbed cannot do, because a flatbed leaves you needing lifting gear at the far end. It is also why we ask what is between the road and the landing point before we ask what the item weighs.
The commercial side is more conventional: Crewe, Northwich, Winsford and the Chester corridor, with industrial and construction deliveries much like anywhere else. All of it is inside a comfortable day from Miles Platting.

Hiab hire in Cheshire, answered
Do you actually cover Cheshire?
Yes, and the photographs on this page are from jobs we have done there rather than stock images. A kiosk unit craned onto its base at Winsford, brick pallets into a street at Ellesmere Port, a load of electrical panels running down the M6 from Ellesmere Port to London, and a commercial truck wash lifted at Lymm. All photographed on the job. Where we can show the work, we show it.
How quickly can you get there?
It depends on the day and what is already committed, but the area is regular rather than exceptional for us. There is no minimum booking notice. Email with the date and we will tell you straight away whether it is achievable, rather than take the booking and work it out later.
What does a job like that cost?
It is priced by the job, not by the mile. Vehicle size, how far out the load has to be placed, the access and the time on site move the number far more than the distance does. Everything that changes a hiab price is set out on the cost page, and you do not need to know any of those figures to ask us for one.
Where do you run from?
Our yard is at Miles Platting in Manchester - one site, our own vehicles and our own ALLMI trained driver / operators, rather than work farmed out to a local sub-contractor we have never met. Cheshire is regular running for us, and jobs are priced by the job rather than by the mile, so the distance from the yard is not a line on your quote.
