Back loads 2022
These are the 12 return loads we advertised during 2022, as they were written at the time. Each one was a lorry finishing a job away from home with an empty bed and a journey to make anyway. Nothing here has been reworded.

Cheaper than a dedicated lorry, and here is why
A back load is freight moved on a return journey rather than on a journey laid on for it. The lorry has taken its own cargo out, it is empty, and it is heading for the North West. Anything it carries on the way is carried on a trip that was going to happen anyway.
A dedicated journey is priced on the whole movement, out and back. A return load is priced on the difference between running empty and running loaded, and that is a much smaller sum. The only thing you hand over in exchange is the date.
And because our lorries carry their own cranes, you are not paying for a forklift or a mobile crane at either end. That is often where the saving on cheap haulage quietly disappears.
