These are the 2 return loads we advertised during 2026, as they were written at the time. Each one was a lorry finishing a job away from home with an empty bed and a journey to make anyway. Nothing here has been reworded.
The current year, and it fills up as it goes. Anything advertised is added here, and anything offered directly to somebody on the list never appears at all.
The trade you are making
A back load is space on a vehicle that has finished away from home and is returning to Manchester. The lorry is coming back whatever happens. Putting something on it costs a great deal less than sending one out.
In exchange you give up the date. That is the entire bargain and everything else follows from it: the price is low because the journey is not yours, and the timing is not yours for the same reason.
Every vehicle carries a crane, which is what makes a return load practical rather than theoretical. Most cheap return-load work needs a forklift at both ends. Ours needs a driver and somewhere firm to stand.
